Japanese y shape wall hanging made from recycled skateboards
A total of 8 recycled skateboards ♻️where used. Which by useing joinery techniques and machinery, where turned into nearly 2,000 pieces. I used a different method for making this shape which shortened the work time drastically at the expense of accuracy. all gaps where filled with coloured ply and are almost unnoticeable unless looked for.
The skateboard design was then boarderd with oak and sealed in epoxy to protect and preserve the art, while also leaving a glossy finish.
The price had been reduced as there are small imperfections across the entire art piece. The imperfections are relatively unnoticeable until you get close to the project.
